The local training coordination has been working since 1991, training volunteer paramedics, in the year of 1996 we started the training of personel with more technical level.
From 1996 to this date 12 generations of MUT's had graduated, makin a total of 216 Medical Urgencies Technicians whom work and give a volunteer service in Cruz Roja Tijuana, Tecate, Rosarito, in rescue groups and firefighters direction.
Medical Urgencies Technician (MUT)
The medical urgencies technicians get training in many areas like:
- First Aids
- Disaster introducion
- Cruz Roja introduction
- Physiology and Anatomy
- Comunication Systems
During training the students will have teorical-practical lessons to obtain a better result in our comunity.
This way we obtan highly qualified personel to give a better atention to the patients who are attended, for trauma or an illness.
Once they conclude the training as a basic technician, they can continue their training with post-technical courses.
